Hi Everyone!
Please ensure that with the changing Fall weather, your child is sent to school with appropriate layers of clothing and rain boots as necessary. Each student has a bin in their cubby area for a pair of indoor shoes so that wet shoes and boots can be kept outside of the classroom. Please make sure that if your child hasn't already, bring in a pair of shoes to leave at school (this helps on gym days as well).
Please also make sure that your child is coming to school with a water bottle that can be reused and refilled as our school gets quite dry and we need to stay hydrated! Please note that only water should be sent in the bottle as it is kept on your child's desk.
Many students bring snacks to school for recess times and this helps to keep them full until lunch or after school. Please try to make sure that snacks your child brings are healthy such as fruit, vegetables, cheese or crackers. Cookies, chips, chocolate and other candy are of course tasty but they create a sugar rush and crash that makes it difficult for your child to do their best learning at school.
